Beauty Debate

I'm thinking. One day I was telling one of my residents how beautiful she is (as I often do to all my residents...well except the men...beautiful doesn't really win them over) and she returned the complement, which sparked the debate: "Thank you...but I think you are much more beautiful." Instead of going back and forth like this she stopped it by saying "well isn't there a little bit of beauty in all of us?"

What a great outlook to have. Perhaps there is. Perhaps in some people it is so small and so buried and tortured that no one ever knows it to be there. And perhaps in others it overflows its bounds. Too bad everyone's doesn't overflow.
